Why Jullia Works by Introduction
We do not advertise, because a good listening cannot be sold in thirty seconds — it has to be heard, in a car, in Kraków, with nothing to rush it along.
Not exclusivity for its own sake
A listening takes an hour we would rather not rush. Working by introduction is not about keeping people out — it is about protecting the hour itself, so it can be spent properly with every person who sits down in one of our reworked cars. A rushed listening teaches a visitor nothing; an unhurried one usually changes what they thought they wanted.
A conversation first, not a form
A commission begins with a conversation, not a form. We ask what someone has stopped hearing in their own car, in their own room, and we start there — the same question that guides how we think about silence in every build. It is a slower way to begin a project than filling in a spec sheet, and it consistently produces a better one.
A short list, long hours
By introduction keeps the list short and the hours long. We would rather do twelve listenings a year, unhurried, than a hundred we do not remember. It also means every commission we take on gets the same attention as the Mercedes GL 550 and Chevrolet Volt builds documented on this site — nothing rushed through to make room for the next name on a list.
How to start a conversation
To start that conversation, request a listening or reach the atelier through our contacts page. There is no application, no waitlist form — just a call or an email, answered by the person you wrote to. Read more about the thinking behind it in our philosophy, or see the results of that approach on our car audio page.
